Motel 6 Beatty, NV - Death Valley

I have read mixed reviews about this place. For the price, this location offers comfortable and clean rooms. I had a great stay. It is an easy 9min walk to the town and the room I got was clean and had all the amenities for a nice stay. I would definitely return!

Had a great day at this motel 6. Had to come in at 3:30 a.m. It was rough driving through the mountains with snow. I gave them a call at about midnight and asked if we could come in early and she said no problem that she would be awake. The woman at the front desk met us when we got there she was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and so was the hotel. It's nice that there's a Denny's next door.

Amazing place to stay if you are going to Death Valley National Park. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I even observed them being friendly and helpful to a family checking in who had many requests and were a little difficult. The room was nicely updated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The coffee included in the morning was great to grab before I went hiking. I also liked how room access was inside and not on the outside so I felt safe. No breakfast which is a bummer but there's a nearby gas station that has breakfast sandwiches for decent prices. Overall, I was impressed with this hotel and I would stay there again.

Motel 6 is definitely the hotel to stay at when in Beatty! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was clean. I did not see any bugs during my stay. I’m very happy with my stay and will choose Motel 6 if I’m out this way again.

My first experience with Valerie at thefront desk was quite enchanting: Valerie greeted me with a smile, quoted me an accurate published room rate after double~checking availability, and made sure I knew how and where the exits worked at the lobby. Her daughter recommended the Death Valley Candy store next door for breakfast (actually great dining experience). I later came back to tell her my room was more than I expected as the toilet paper roll in my bathroom had a bow~tie on top only to find her polishing the counter serving the front desk. I told Valerie about some research I had done recently and she was very patient and kind to listen to what I had to say.The maids even greeted me with a smile as they were cleaning the rooms, What genuine nice personnel in an industry caught up in a sea of grumpiness!

My parents and I were on a roadtrip for two weeks and we covered the entire coastline of California, stretching from socal all the way to San Francisco, been thru numerous towns, and had stayed at tons of different hotels, but we gotta say this had been our favorite. The staff here were super friendly and helpful, to me this is the key element of my rating of a hotel because it makes the place feel homey. The room is clean, it has everything we need and the staff are always available when we need them. The manager of our hotel, Valerie, despite being extremely busy because the hotel is so packed, was still patient and very friendly to all of her customers. She and her daughter was very sweet, we even exchanged gifts, my mum prepared a Chinese red pocket for them because it’s near new year, and, in exchange, they got us a very fun game and some delicious chocolates we got to enjoy on our roadtrip. It has truly been a blessing to stay here and you guys should come check them out too!

It was my first ever experience at Motel 6 and I do not regret that choice. Overall Beatty NV has some other options to stay but Motel 6 offered the best deal for the money. Its close location to Death Valley is a big plus too. Also walking distance to all food joints in Beatty- although everything is is in a waking distance there. I highly recommend this place!

Had a peaceful stay at this motel in Beatty during the thanksgiving break. It was a perfect place to stay near Death Valley. Beautiful fall colors as soon as we opened the window curtains. They also serve coffee and hot water for tea in the morning between 4-11pm. Felt very peaceful to take a walk around the fall colors. The staff were kind. For whatever reason , I was just happy being there for 2 nights ! There is also a subway right next door that was perfect to grab sandwiches prior to the roadtrip
